Jserver provides Japanese input with kana-kanji conversion to multiple
users.  The Japanese IO environment is provided by umm(1), but the
Japanese morpho-syntactic analysis is done here.  jserver is normally
started at system boot (by /etc/rc).  On start up jserver reads the
dictionaries specified by /usr/local/lib/wnn/ja_JP/jserverrc(4).

jserver controls frequency updates and dictionary updating for all
users.  The directories where this information is stored are specified
by jserver_dir in jserverrc(4).

jserver is normally started at boot (in /etc/rc).  If you want to
start it manually use:

  /usr/local/bin/Wnn4/jserver

The following options can be set:

Set the number of the server.  This number is used to differentiate
between different processes when there are multiple jservers running.

default value is "0".  Each new server must increase the serverNO by
1: for example -N 1, -N 2, -N 3.

Set the base number of the port.  When serverNO has not been set,
(i.e. there is only one jserver), this will be the port number.  If
there are multiple jservers running, the port number will be port_base
+ serverNO.   If this option is not set, the default value will be
obtained by getservbyname.  If getservbyname does not supply a name,
then the value of WNN_PORT_IN in jd_sock.h will be used.

日本語入力における仮名漢字変換を、複数のユーザに提供する。
日本語入出力環境は、uum(1)によって提供されるが、その際の日本語文法解析を
受け持つ。
通常システム立ち上げ時に、(/etc/rc コマンドで) 起動される。
jserver は、起動時に /usr/local/lib/wnn/ja_JP/jserverrc(4)
に設定された辞書を読み込む。
jserver は、全ユーザの頻度、登録可能辞書を一括して管理する。
それらの管理のためのディレクトリは jserverrc 中の jserver_dir というエントリ
で指定される。

の jserver を起動する時は -N 1, -N 2, -N 3 というように一つづつ 
serverNO を増やして立ち上げなければならない。

ポート番号の基準値を指定した数字に設定する。serverNO を指定していない
場合(つまり jserver を一つしか動かしていない場合)は、この値がそのまま
ポート番号として使われる。複数の jserver を動かしている場合は、実際の
ポート番号はこの値に serverNO を足した値となる。このオプションを省略し
た場合はデフォルト値として getservbyname で取得された値が使われる。
getservbyname で取得できない場合はヘッダファイル jd_sock.h で定義され
ている WNN_PORT_IN の値が使われる。
